1. Amplifier by Fear No Empire: The four members of the rock band Fear No Empire, (Zebrahead, Death by Stereo, The Adolescents and Common War) released “Amplifier” to continue their musical protest against social injustice. After it’s release 6 days ago, the band stated that the new single emphasizes systemic racism and other forms of socioeconomic and racial inequities that put people at a higher risk of contracting COVID-19. “Amplifier” is a follow up to “Revolt” that was released mid last month to mark the commencement of the band’s musical protests. Amplifier was added to 4 playlists.
2. Boys from the Puget Sound by Ayron Jones: Ayron Jones told the fans to consider ‘Boys from the Puget Sound’ as “an anthem for the Pacific Northwest and a meeting place for American pride”. An ‘I don’t give a fu*K’ response to shattering walls of preconceived notions especially about black rock bands. This single further exclaims Ayron Jones mission to reintroduce classic American rock to the new generation. Track added to 4 playlists.
3. Obey by Bring Me The Horizon and Yungblud: This rock masterpiece created by Bring Me The Horizon front man Oli Sykes, in collaboration with Yungblud is a must listen. Released 2 weeks ago with an equally amazing music video that has raked 5 million views on YouTube, “obey” is a heavy genre-bender that passes as an anthem for rage. Heavy metal mixed with pulsating synths, the track is EDM inspired and it could inspire and empower you to take actions against the corrupt authorities. Added to 3 playlists last week.
